Jeff Stapleton joins Expanse as a Managing Partner for Fund II, extending the firm's focus into cybersecurity, infrastructure, and IT software, areas where he has built a standout realized track record in growth software investing.

Before joining Expanse, he spent over 6 years at Anthos Capital and 3 years at Summit Partners where he focused on early-stage and growth-stage software investments.

Jeff invests with an operator's instincts. Before moving into venture and growth equity, he held go-to-market roles at Okta and Cobalt.io, giving him firsthand insight into the sales and scaling challenges his founders face, along with a reputation for partnering closely with management teams from first check through exit.

A four-year varsity volleyball player at Princeton, where he earned his BA in Economics, Jeff brings the same competitiveness and discipline to his work as an investor. He lives in Santa Monica with his wife.
